651 s.f. Treehouse. I was tasked with designing a Treehouse for a client in the Pittman Center TN area which is close to Pigeon Forge TN and Gatlinburg TN. The issue was that the local codes did not allow for a traditional treehouse to actually be built in a tree used for overnight rentals so, I hired an engineer to design a structural steel base for the foundation of the treehouse which would still give an open feeling and make one feel like they were in the trees. (4) of these were built, close to the wedding barn that I designed, and mainly used for wedding guests to stay at while in town. These were the 1st Treehouses designed and built in the Sevierville TN area.
